Text Messaging Consent
Texts you can trust — and stop anytime
RigSpec makes software businesses use to text their own customers. Here is exactly what those texts are, how opt-in works, and how to stop them.
Effective date: June 27, 2026
RigSpec Technologies makes software that businesses use to text their own customers. RigSpec is the platform; the business you gave your number to is the one sending the messages and is responsible for obtaining your consent. This page explains how that texting works and how to stop it.
When you give your mobile number to a business that uses RigSpec — by filling in a form like the one below, booking an appointment, or returning a call — that business may text you only to service your relationship with them. These are transactional messages, not marketing. The message types are:
- Missed-call text-back — if you call the business and don’t reach anyone, you may receive a single text reply so the conversation can continue by message.
- Appointment confirmations and reminders — for appointments you scheduled.
- Payment-due reminders — for invoices or balances you owe that business.
Transactional only. Every message described above services your relationship with the business you interacted with — confirmations, reminders, and replies. None of it is marketing. RigSpec also sends its own account owners service notifications about their account, again never marketing. A business cannot use RigSpec to text people who never gave it their number, and providing your number is never required to purchase anything.
Message frequency varies depending on your activity with the business. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time; reply HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your mobile number and your consent are used only to deliver these messages. They are never shared or sold to any third party, and never shared with anyone for their own marketing. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for full details.
