Privacy notice
We collect very little, and we use it only to respond to you and to keep this site secure.
This notice explains how RigSpec Technologies (“RigSpec,” “we,” or “us”) handles information collected through rigspec.ai (the “site”).
Information we collect
- Information you submit. When you use the contact form, we collect your name, work email, organization, and the details of your inquiry, plus anything optional you choose to share, such as your role, phone number, timeline, budget range, or a solicitation number.
- Technical information. When you submit the form, we record your approximate country, your browser’s user-agent string, and a one-way hash of your IP address so we can detect and prevent abuse. Our hosting provider processes standard request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and measure how quickly pages load. It does not use cookies, and it does not track you across other websites. This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and, where appropriate, prepare a proposal or assessment.
- To keep a record of our business communications.
- To protect the site and our systems against spam, abuse, and security incidents.
- To comply with legal obligations.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers that host, secure, and deliver email for this site — currently Cloudflare, Inc. — under terms that restrict how they may use it, or when the law requires us to.
The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which evaluates signals from your browser to distinguish people from automated traffic. Cloudflare processes that information under its own privacy policy.
Retention
We keep inquiry records for up to 24 months after our last communication with you, unless the inquiry becomes part of a client engagement or we are legally required to keep it longer. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Security
Information you submit is encrypted in transit and stored in an access-controlled database that is encrypted at rest. Access is limited to the people who need it to respond to you.
Your choices
To access, correct, or delete information you have submitted, email contact@rigspec.ai with the subject line “Privacy request.” We will respond within 30 days.
Children
This site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we will post the updated version here and revise the effective date above.
